This Sunday, February 5th 2012 is The Super Bowl! It is going to be The New England Patriots taking on the New York Giants. The Pats have been designated as the Home team this year.
Giants: 9-7 - 1st in the NFC East Division
Patriots: 13-3 - 1st in the AFC
This is the 6th time in the last 15 years and the 7th appearance overall for the Pat's. The 1st of 5 times, they lost to the Packers, and then going on to win 3 in 4 years from 2002-2005 beating the Rams, Panthers and Eagles. The last Super Bowl appearance they lost 17-14 to the very same Giants at the end of their near perfect season.
This will be the 5th time the Giants have been to the Super Bowl, winning 3 and losing 1.
Fun stat of the day, the last 4 Super Bowl games involving the Pats have been decided by 3 points.
This will be a close game, most likely, but I'm going out on a limb and saying the Pats win this game 32-17.
